How to Improve Blood Circulation


Good blood circulation is important for us to have a healthy body because good blood circulation can help maintain cell level metabolism, pH levels, and blood pressures. 

It can also make our temperature stable and can protect us from microbial and mechanical injury. On the other hand, poor blood circulation can bring negative effects like high blood pressure, heart problems, organ damage, strokes, varicose veins, kidney issues and other blood restriction difficulties. Because of these, it is important for us to maintain good blood circulation, 

There are many ways which can help us improve the circulation of our blood. Some of these are:

Exercised- get moving, do physical activities that can enhance pumping of the blood like walking, biking, running, swimming, dancing or anything. All of this can increase blood circulation.

Stretch and Massage- also help increase blood circulation. After sitting for a long time you can stretch out, walk for 3 to 5 minutes. You can also massage some parts of your bodies which feel numb. Stretching and massaging can increase blood circulation.

Elevate your legs- after sitting or standing for a long time, it is good and relaxing to elevate your legs to increase blood flow.

•Eat healthy foods- eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins and healthy fats. Avoid eating processed foods, foods rich in sugar or salt or unhealthy fats. There are many foods that can help improve good health and can improve blood circulation. These healthy foods can also improve your thinking and reasoning.

Drink enough water and avoid or reduce caffeine and alcohol- drink at least 8 to 12 glasses of water per day. Drinking enough water can increase the Oxygen level of your blood.

•Quit smoking- smoking is not good, it can give negative effects to your health. It can endanger your lungs.
